LOVE BECOMES LEGACY.  TOGETHER.

We help families and communities come together to honor children through legacy projects that heal and inspire.

The Go Big Foundation was born from the heartbreaking loss of my son, Grig McCoy. Grig was a vibrant, fearless 16-year-old who filled every day with laughter, enthusiasm, and love. When he passed away on June 24, 2022, there was an overwhelming outpouring of support from our family, friends, and the broader community.

Even with all that love around us, it quickly became clear how hard it was to figure out how to honor Grig’s life in a way that felt lasting and meaningful. There was no roadmap, no clear direction for turning that collective grief into something positive - something that could carry his spirit forward.

That experience highlighted a gap so many families face: the need for a structured, compassionate approach to channel community support and create meaningful tributes when your heart is broken. I started the Go Big Foundation to help fill that gap.

Our mission is to provide the guidance, resources, and steady support needed to transform grief into enduring legacies that celebrate the lives of children who are no longer with us. We’re dedicated to fostering community involvement and making sure that no one has to navigate this journey alone.

We serve in honor of Grig, who was truly larger than life. He lived each day to the fullest and was always determined to ‘go big’ in everything he did. We, in kind, are committed to ‘Go Big for Grig,’ and all children taken from this world too soon.

Welcome to Go Big Foundation

“Go Big for Grig” isn’t just a saying. It’s a movement. Grig lived with boldness, heart, and joy - lifting those around him with his energy and spirit. In his memory, we help others honor children taken too soon by creating legacies as vibrant and enduring as the children they celebrate.
